Trans-Sculpting the Human Form

MTFs in transition are looking to masculinize the body form.  In the past, this has been limited to top and bottom surgery and essentially removing what is felt to be foreign to their gender identity and adding what is missing.  But there is considerably more to refining the masculine body form that is the focus of this workshop. Dr. Tony Mangubat will discuss the artistic aspects that differentiate the masculine body form from the feminine body form.  By understanding these differences, the doctor and patient can better verbalize and visualize the desired results.

Dr. Mangubat will introduce a refined concept in chest masculinization.  The current idea of top surgery is to simply remove gland tissue so the chest can be flat.  The idea of masculinization is simplified to a flat chest.  But artistically, we know that this couldn’t be further from reality.

We now focus on enhancing the visual appearance of the chest muscles as well as the bordering anatomy.  We have evolved into artistically sculpting a truly masculine form.  With the advent of new and exciting technologies, we can create a more masculine chest as well as sculpt an abdominal “6-pack” further enhancing the masculine form.  Dr. Mangubat will also review the essentials of achieving an ideal outcome.  What to do before and after your surgery is vital to realizing your goals.
